16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in 护理
Take the fast track to a fulfilling nursing career with the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in 护理 (ABSN) program at the University of Evansville. In as little as 16 months, students can earn their BSN to become a registered nurse (RN).
The healthcare industry is rapidly expanding, and nurses are retiring at an even faster rate. With the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in 护理 program, students are well-equipped to become a bedside nurse and meet the demands of the job market.
The ABSN program blends in-person, hybrid, and online courses over a period of four semesters, or 16 months. Unlike the traditional Bachelor of Science in 护理 degree, which offers direct entry and is completed over four years, the ABSN program is designed for individuals seeking to earn a second bachelor’s degree and change careers in a shorter amount of time.
Classes will be offered in eight-week formats, and students can choose to start the program in the spring (January) or summer (May) semester. In addition to coursework and simulation labs, ABSN students will also complete clinical hours at local healthcare facilities, which include Ascension St. Vincent Evansville and Deaconess Health System. Between these two sites, students gain experience in emergency medicine, 急救护理, 二级创伤, medical-surgical care, and maternity services.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended
- Must earn a minimum grade of "C" in all prerequisite courses
